Tonga Trench Expedition
Tentative Itinerary: August 31-September 6, 2012
Day 1: Loading and setting up operations. The cruise will depart from Apia, Samoa and transit for approximately 18 hours to the Tonga Trench.
Day 2-5: The ship will be stationed for three days to allow for deployment and recovery of landers and other equipment deep into the abyss of the Tonga Trench.
Day 6-7: The ship will transit approximately two days to Suva Harbor, Fiji.
